My uncle used to work in a timber factory up north Sandakan, it was holiday seasons so most of the workers went back to celebrate it with their family. He was left with another buddies of him on an abandon workplace. It happened when they were driving back to their boarding house at noon after checking the lumber. An old woman was walking slowly carrying a basket on her shoulder, feeling pity they offer her a ride. She told them that she was looking for herbs and didn’t notice that she went so far to the heart of the forest. In short, they went back together. They insist the old woman to stay for the night and promise to send her off the next day. My uncle left the old grandmamma with his friend and went to write on their daily reports for a while. Returning to his room, he heard a soft moaning sound from his friend rooms. Curiosity made my uncle move closer to his friend rooms. He heard another sound; “rattling of something”, woman laughing and his friend moaning. My uncles took a peek and saw the old woman floating in the air just above his friend, which is now laid helplessly while his chest is being rip to bits. That was enough for him to flee and run, never look back until he is safely inside a nearby village and at the care of the folks there. What happened to his friend? dead. and the old woman? never to be found

Majestic Peacock
The Flying Head

People around Borneo known this being as BALAN-BALAN; human by day and fiend by night, their head will fly in search of fresh human meat (mostly new born babies). It is said that the descendant was curse for the wrong doing of their ancestor and this will continue till the end of time. I once knew a girl from my school years that admit she was one of the descendants; she told me that she never wanted this to happen but the curse will take affect and she may someday turn into one when the time comes. Quite freaky don’t you think? Never know what happen to her… leave a comment and share your own episode

Water spirit

The water spirit will take the form of someone you knows or something you fancy, which would destine to get your trust or your greed. This would happen once a year around December. Some that get away tell the tale but others that perish would be found dead after weeks missing with their eyeball gone.

Mystic had always been something rather unexplainable but expected. Some may say its "rubbish" but lots of us experienced it. If you've got something to share feel free to drop your comment
